Access the Waiting Room, where you can video chat while waiting for the rest of your party to join.

There is no need to be computer savvy, the Deadbolt Games Platform is built to be easy and intuitive for everyone. Our menu contains amazing features to encourage clear communication within your team. Everyone can search their virtual environments, interact with puzzles and machines and look at clues at the same time. This level of interaction makes it fun for everyone to participate and get the most out of their virtual escape room adventure.
Clickable objects
The yellow circle indicates clickable objects — whether it's an interactive machine, a lock, or a 3D or 2D item that can be added to your inventory. Navigate, click, and explore your surroundings to uncover crucial clues and unravel the mysteries awaiting you.

Stay informed about your teammates' actions with matching coloured indicators.
Controls
Access the controls menu for guidance on navigation, zooming, rotating objects, and adjusting view settings tailored to your device.
Full Screen
Immerse yourself fully by toggling seamlessly between full screen and regular view modes.
Timer
Track your progress with the game timer located at the top right corner. But don’t worry, you have a full 4 hours to complete the game.
Hints
Feeling stuck? Utilize our integrated hint system, where team members can collectively vote to receive assistance.
Items
Manage your inventory of gathered objects and clues via the items panel, keeping track of essential items for puzzle-solving.
Video Chat
Communicate effortlessly with your team through integrated video chat features, complete with controls for camera, microphone, and speaker settings.
Audio Settings
Customize your sound experience with adjustable volume controls for sound effects, ambiance, and video chat.
Text Chat
For quick communication or sharing text-based information, utilize the convenient text chat feature built into the platform.
What happens at the end of the game?
At the conclusion of your thrilling adventure, as you revel in your team's successes, your video chat remains active for an additional 30 minutes. This time allows you and your companions to reflect on your triumphs, bid farewell, and offer congratulations for a job well done!
Furthermore, you gain access to your game score and can observe your standing on the leaderboard. Our scoring system employs a sophisticated algorithm that factors in several key elements:
The time it took to complete the escape room.
The amount of hints that were used to complete the game.
The accuracy of your answers throughout the game.
For those engaged in friendly competition with other teams, this is the moment to assess your rank and overall score. Take note, compare with fellow adventurers, and ignite a spirited rivalry.
Lastly, as you exit the game, you will be provided an opportunity to rate your experience and offer feedback, so that we can continue to improve and enhance your Deadbolt Games experiences.

In-Person Team Play
Gather your team together at home or in the office for an immersive experience. All you need is a minimum of 2 devices.
With everyone together, you can opt to disable video and audio chat, immersing yourselves fully in the game's ambient sounds. It's a great way to bring everyone closer, combining the thrill of escape rooms with the joy of shared experiences.

Teams can be divided from 2-6 players however we find the magic number to be teams of 4. It often gives the best gaming experience where everyone feels fully engaged.
