Our Story
Hey there, fellow adventurers! We are the dynamic duo behind Deadbolt Games.
We love to play cooperative board games, and we often host game nights with friends and family. What drew us to escape rooms was the sheer excitement of diving straight into the action. No rulebooks to pore over, just good friends coming together as a team, each bringing their own unique skills to the table. It was all about the shared experience — the rush of solving puzzles together, and the joy of overcoming obstacles as one.
But as life got busier, gathering everyone in person became a challenge. That's when inspiration struck: Why not create our own virtual escape rooms, accessible to everyone with just a web browser and no fancy software required?
The idea consumed us with excitement! Drawing from our backgrounds in film and television, we knew we had the perfect blend of creativity and technical know-how to bring our vision to life. With one of us wielding the brush as an artist and the other mastering the digital realm as a software developer, Deadbolt Games was born.

From capturing cinematic moments on film sets around the world, to settling into her role as a digital illustrator, she's always been drawn to the art of visual storytelling.
As the lead digital artist and game designer, Gabie pours her creative energy into ensuring that the visual style and themes of each project match the adventure and story being told.
Chuck TaylorSoftware Developer & Game Designer
Chuck Taylor has always been a passionate about games and exciting technologies. For much of his adult life, Chuck has worked as a professional cinematographer and a drone pilot for film and television projects all around the world. Now, as a father of two wonderful children, he has happily transitioned into a wonderful 'work-from-home' career in computer programming and game design.
Fueled by his love of visual storytelling and gaming, Chuck is on a mission to push the boundaries of innovation. Drawing upon his diverse background, he constantly seeks out new ways to infuse our games with fresh, interactive experiences, leveraging the endless possibilities of programming to captivate players and keep them coming back for more.
